Nadine – Mummy who wants a brighter future
A mummy with a young son with special educational needs, Nadine is really keen to get training to help her become a certified driving instructor so she can have a career that works around her young family and gives her a rewarding future in the automotive industry.
Exciting days ahead
It is clear from meeting Nadine that she is really excited about her future as an qualified driving instructor and the prospect of this new career. She is determined to study and do all it takes to be the best that she can be.
Working with Belfast Works Connect and her Community Based Navigator, Nadine is undertaking an advanced driving instructor course through The Car College, which involves theory tests and then practical learning with a driving instructor in a dual manual car. As Nadine has a young child with special educational needs she is keen to make sure that she finds and builds a career that suits her child and life. Training as a driving instructor will allow her to do this and achieve this balance and her Community Based Navigator is there to support Nadine on this journey to drive her career forward.
Motivated about the future
