1. Community Engagement Navigator
Our team of community engagement navigators will outreach with individuals in the community, understanding their needs and barriers to employment, and building relationships with local community groups, to create awareness of our services and develop referral pathways to the Belfast Works program for all eligible people.
2. Connect Navigator
Each client that enrols with the programme will be assigned a Connect Navigator who will support them throughout their journey. Our staff will focus on building a relationship with clients whilst working to understand their personal barriers. Clients will develop a range of basic / life skills, develop an individual action plan, gain advice from our benefits advice team, receive well-being supports and warm referral process to external services.
3. Skills Navigator
Our professional staff team will support clients to develop a skills action plan, identifying training from our internal menu of over 100 courses. Training focuses on developing numeracy skills, confidence building, personal motivation and resilience. Clients will then identify further training from our external menu of vocational qualifications, skills and licences to help clients progress closer towards employment.
4. Employment Navigator
In the Employment stage, Navigators work closely with participants to identify suitable job opportunities, provide job search support, assist with resume writing and interview preparation, and connect individuals with employers. The aim is to help participants secure sustainable employment that matches their skills and aspirations.
5. Post-Employment Support
This stage involves providing ongoing support to individuals after they have gained employment. Navigators offer guidance on career progression, workplace challenges, and personal development, ensuring participants have the necessary support to sustain their employment and continue their professional growth.
This training will enhance employability skills through individualised guidance and assessment, clients will develop career pathways.
6. Skills Connect
Skills Connect can offer additional
support to employers through courses
designed to cover specific certain
requirements.
Employment Navigator and Connect
Navigator will support clients in employment who are not supported
by mainstream provisions.
