When you sign up to Belfast Works Connect, you are assigned your own Navigator. This person works closely with you to create a personalised action plan that is specific to your goals and individual needs through our 5 step programme.

Community Engagement Navigator

Our team of Community Engagement Navigators will engage with eligible clients across the five council areas through outreach in local communities, to promote the services, benefits of the programme for clients and refer interested clients to our enrolment stage.

Connect Navigator

This moves you onto the Connect phase where your Navigator will help you access any resources you need and work to identify suitable free training courses. They will establish any community support connections that may help you as well.

Skills Navigator

Here you will focus on getting support from your Navigator as you begin to develop and improve the skills you identified with them in Stage 1. By the end of this, you will be gaining recognised qualifications for both personal and professional skills - go you!

Employment Navigator

Now you are ready to work with your Navigator on identifying job opportunities, get help with writing your CV, get support with interview preparation and be introduced to potential employers. The aim now is to secure stable employment for you that matches your individual needs, preferences, skills and goals.

Post-Employment Support

Your journey with us doesn’t end there, we offer ongoing support to you after gaining employment. Navigators will help offer guidance on career progression, help you with any workplace challenges, and look at personal development opportunities you would benefit from. Here, we make sure you have the right support to sustain your new career and continue to grow.
